WHAT YOU'LL LEARN.

This 5-day accelerator will teach you how to write a clear and compelling NIH Specific Aims page and kickstart a strong, fundable grant application.

The Do's and Don'ts

Learn what absolutely needs to be on your aims page and what you should save for later.

The Structure

Learn how to organize your aims page so that it's super easy for your reviewers to grasp your research idea.

The Framework

Learn the life-changing rhetorical framework that will help you explain the value of your research—and help you do better science.

THE DETAILS.

  • The Specific Aims Accelerator is a FREE event happening December 5-9, 2022
  • You'll need about 90 minutes per day: 30 minutes per day for homework, and about 60 minutes for the lesson and Q&A (you can either attend live, watch the recording, or listen to an audio version of the lesson)
  • All of the lessons and the workbook will be available until December 14, 2022
  • At the end of the 5-day accelerator, you can expect to have completed a draft Specific Aims page for your next NIH grant

I'M SARAH.

Since I started grant consulting in 2018, my team and I have helped PIs bring in more than $50 Million in research funding—by helping them clearly communicate the value of their research.

I believe that the key to getting funded is to get your reviewer as excited about your research as you are.

No fake hype, no “selling” your science – you just need to make a genuine connection with your reviewers. That requires empathy…and a little bit of skill to ensure that your research is presented in a clear, compelling, and persuasive package.

(But don’t worry – we’ll show you exactly how it’s done.)

"At my institution junior faculty get bits and pieces of advice from various mentors. Sarah's lessons are a treasure trove.

Your course is the most comprehensive grant writing one I have been through."

—MD, PHD Johns Hopkins University

"So often, the really important information is buried deep in the grant because we don't really know what we're doing, on some level, and it comes out in the grant.

Sarah makes you really think through what you want to do. She makes you do the work, not the reviewer.

Sarah’s training offers a clear, focused approach, and she provides a framework to help you do what you need to do to get the reviewer/reviewers interested in your project.”
